On the right hand side use your Pharros Lockstone on the installation. Two archers will be shooting down at you. Head into this the plaza and dispatch the Pirate and Dog that attack you. After taking care of these three enemies, do not continue on to the upper level yet, instead, walk back down the stairs, turning left half way down. There is also a dog that will attack you here, they have low health but can be a nuisance when engaged by multiple enemies. Agro them and lure them back into the building to slay them. There is a pirate on the left in an alcove, and also one standing at the top of the stairs.

Head outside (this is the area at the top of the stairs). It will break and can be repaired by the Blacksmith in Majula for 3000 souls so it is like a fairly inexpensive life insurance policy. Don't miss this is a Ring of Life Protection and will allow you to keep your souls should you be killed while wearing it. Dispatch him and break the bookshelf here to reveal treasure. There is another Hollow Pirate waiting on the upper level. Turn left half way up and enter the building. Note that these enemies won't step into firelight, a fact that becomes very useful later.Д¬limb the steps but don't go all the way to the top. Be careful in close quarters with these guys, they hit hard and cause bleeding damage. You can pick him off at a distance or using melee attacks. Take him down and then kill the hollow knight in the next building along. Dispatch him and then quickly turn around as a Hollow Pirate will have dropped from the eve above. The closest building has a Hollow Knight in it. Head to the three buildings further along the walkway, be sure to collect the treasure off to the left in the shallow water. Exit this building and walk back onto the dock. Looping back, clear the building with two corpses waiting inside, then head to the roof and kill the bombardier. You'll need to keep one eye on the swordsman and the other on incoming arrows. Take out the hollow on the ground and then dash to kill the archer and swordsman. In most places throughout this area, falling into the water is lethal. To your right, standing on a dock is an archer using flaming arrows, protected by a dual-sword wielding Hollow Pirate. As you exit the tunnel, a hollow knight on the ground to your left is waiting to ambush you. If a flaming arrow strikes the character afterward, he explodes, usually for an instant death.ДЇrom the bonfire, continue through the tunnel until you come to a waterfront. They do little damage but spread gunpowder over the player character's body. Several enemies in this zone throw gunpowder bombs. Here you will also meet Lucatiel of MirrahВ again, who can be summoned to assist in the boss fight against the Flexile SentryВ in this area. Navigate through the stalagmites to the first bonfire in the area. Dispatch him and then continue through the hole in the wall at the other end of the walkway. Head forward a little and watch to your left for another giant. At the bottom of the lift is another corridor. At the end of the walkway is a room with a lift. It cannot fit through the doorway so take it out as it's standing in front trying to get in Next head down the staircase where you'll find another giant waiting through the doorway at the bottom. All the way at the end of the walkway are three corpses with loot. Here you'll find more giants you found at the Heides Tower of Flame, one weilding a sword and shield, and another with a single sword. At the bottom of the staircase, around to the right you'll find a Monastery Charm.ДЄt the bottom of the spiral staircase head through the door way. From the bonfire past the Dragonrider, continue on and down a narrow spiral staircase. The Wharf is accessible through Heides Tower of Flame. It is behind the double bookcases on a body there. There are times when one or two of them will brave the light and come after you so watch out for them.Дon't forget to get the Ring of Life Protection in the house on the left at the very top of the long staircase. You can go back down to the beginning of the area and roll in the water to wash off the gunpowder rather than just waiting for it to wear off and hoping you don't get hit by a fire arrow.ДЄlso keep in mind that while the light you turn on with the Pharros Stone deters the monkey creatures from chasing you it is NO GUARANTEE. If you get hit by gunpowder keep in mind that it will wash off. One can be obtained early on in the game from the Old Woman or the locked house in Majula. It's advisable to have a Pharros Stone before entering No-Man's Wharf.
